Is there anyone who is actually HAPPY with their upgrade to Vista? I just got a laptop with Vista Home Basic installed.

There won't be any Vista here unless it becomes absolutely unavoidable. Same here (we're still migrating some users from 2K to XP). So, with everything I have read and heard since The Launch ... Is there anyone who is actually HAPPY with their upgrade to Vista? -- Don't go around saying the world owes you a living.

One of the best things is when a co-worker who's just installed Vista starts cooing about the eye candy in Vista......I just bring 'em over to see my XGL/Compiz setup......they shut up real fast :-) !!! Don't you just love showing off the eye candy and talking about how it works on older systems.
